Bonji Bros Take on The Best of NJ
Hi all, welcome back to the Bonji Food Aficionado Smart Brief! We hope the weekend treated you well and that you are ready for a new week full of new opportunities! Over the past few months, The Bonji Brothers have been on a journey to find the best food in New Jersey. Not only has it been fun, but we've found some restaurants that are must tries. There's always so much hype surrounding New York City eateries, which is completely understandable, but we wanted to give NJ the attention it deserves. Whether you are in the area or not, you can follow along The Bonji Bros journey on our YouTube Channel here. Be sure to subscribe to keep up as we continue forward on our travels!
Here are Some of Our Favorite NJ Spots (So Far) 1. Bread & Salt (Jersey City, NJ) Bread & Salt is a small bakery that is only open at select times and has a menu that changes depending on the day and time. Not only is Bread & Salt home to some of the world's best bread, but the pizza or their “hidden menu item” deserves all the credit. Recently even Dave Portnoy, of Barstool Sports, gave a review to the phenomenal pizza. Aside from the bread and pizza, they have amazing sandwiches and many other options. If you are in the Jersey City area, or even NYC, you HAVE to make a trip to Bread & Salt. Watch Our Review Here: Bread & Salt
2. O'Bagel (Hoboken, Stirling, Basking Ridge, NJ) O'Bagel is a childhood classic for us in central, NJ. There is nothing like waking up and grabbing a fresh-made, soft but crunchy, delicious bagel from this establishment. Many people don't realize what a good bagel truly tastes like until they come out to O'Bagel. Truly, the quality is unmatched. Whether you want a simple bagel, a breakfast sandwich, or even a lunch sandwich, O'Bagel is the spot to go. Watch Our Review Here: O'Bagel
3. Pineapple Express (Montclair, NJ) New Jersey may not be known for its barbecue, but Pineapple Express is home to some of the best barbecue you'll find anywhere. With a menu for everyone, you won't have any troubles finding something you'll enjoy. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the atmosphere is also incredible. It has a biergarten vibe, perfect for watching sports with friends or family, both indoors and outdoors. If you love barbecue, there's only one spot in NJ you should be heading to.
