How To Handle The Chaos

🔥 Bonji Hot Takes: Volume 47 🔥

In the Midst of Chaos There is Also Opportunity

Hi all, welcome back to the Bonji Hot Takes! We hope your week has been filled with success and happiness. The weekend is near, but we hope to offer some value before the week closes and you are enjoying the time off. Chaos is something we may all feel from time to time, and for some reason, it feels like it's doubled down as of late. However, rather than back down in the face of chaos, it is important to continue pushing forward. It can be difficult to stay positive when everything seems to be going sideways, but that is the most important step. Remain calm, positive, and flexible and the chaos will allow you to grow.

In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity

How To Handle and Grow During Times of Chaos At times, creativity and growth can only occur when times get hectic. For instance, an excerpt from the book Mind Management, Not Time Management compares creating during the chaos to weight lifting, "When you lift weights, you make tiny tears in your muscles, and when those tears heal, your muscles are stronger. Your muscles, unlike the coffee cup, benefit from chaos.” Taking a step back, chaos puts our systems to the test. We've previously discussed how important systems are when running a business, or even in ordinary life. Yet, when a system is too rigid, chaos or a problem can easily shatter it completely. Thus, it's important to remain flexible and understand that everything changes, nearly every day. One day your system for deliveries could be working wonderfully, and another day, that system may come crashing down with one mistake, error, or new problem. The universe won't always comply with your systems, so you must be flexible enough to understand that a system that is too rigid is bound to break. Regardless, how you handle chaos tells a lot about you as an individual and as a business owner. Getting frustrated is allowed of course, but after a brief moment of anger, you should take steps toward growth or improvement. Some of the best artists and musicians actually prefer to work during the chaos, as it stirs creative energy. We aren't telling you to go and create the chaos itself, but we want to help you learn how to manage your thoughts and behaviors in order to grow through the chaos that is brought into your world. All in all, when we reflect on our past, it's astonishing how much we all have grown. More specifically, those times of growth generally stem from areas of trouble. Therefore, we should not be afraid of chaotic times, but we should learn to embrace them. Obviously, that isn't always the easiest thing to accomplish; however, you must remember that you will get through the troubling times, and you will come out better than you were before.

Always growing
